Luna Care Services, a leading homecare provider in Potters Bar, is seeking dedicated and flexible Field Care Supervisors to join our growing team. Our services cover areas such as Potters Bar, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, and Welham Green in Hertfordshire. In this role, you will deliver care and support in the community while also assisting new team members, ensuring service quality, and maintaining efficient service operations. Additionally, you will be responsible for office-based administrative tasks, including care planning and risk assessing service user records.

Key details about the role:

 
- Full-Time Salary: £24,960 per year (40 hours per week)

- 32 hours per week allocated to field-based duties and care delivery.

- 8 hours per week allocated to administrative duties in the office.

 
- Part-Time Starting Salary: £12,480 per year (20 hours per week)

- 16 hours per week allocated to care delivery.

- 4 hours per week allocated to administrative duties in the office.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

 
- Knowledge of CQC: Understanding the role of the CQC, relevant legislation, and guidance that govern our service delivery.

- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care: Holding this qualification is preferred, or a willingness to enroll in the course facilitated by Luna Care Services.

- Team Management Experience: Previous experience in working with and managing a team is desirable.

- Proficiency in Electronic Systems: Experience with electronic systems is beneficial, ensuring efficient use of our online platforms and office tools.

- Independent Thinking and Prioritisation Skills: The ability to think independently, prioritise tasks, and manage workload effectively.

- Care Planning and Risk Assessment Support: Supporting the Senior Management Team in care planning and implementing risk assessments.

- Punctuality and Reliability: Being punctual and reliable in meeting work commitments.

- Compassion and Person-Centered Approach: Working with compassion and providing person-centered care to service users.

- Dynamic Nature: Ability to be adaptable and dynamic in responding to the evolving needs of the role.

- Full Driving License and Vehicle Access: Holding a valid driving license and having access to a vehicle.

Working Pattern:

As a Field Care Supervisor, your responsibilities include providing support to the frontline team and directly interacting with service users during allocated visits. Office hours are also allocated for care planning and risk assessment implementation. The shifts may vary based on service users' needs and service capacity, but examples of shifts include:

Care Delivery:

- Early Shift: 07:00 - 15:30

- Late Shift: 15:30 - 23:00

Administrative Hours:

- Full-Time: 10:00 - 18:30

- Part-Time: 10:00 - 14:30
